The Making of Rang Mahal

Rooted in Cloth, Colour and Craft

The name Rang Mahal, the Palace of Colours, was lovingly chosen by Late Shri Vilaiti Ram Vig. He envisioned a place that would fill people's lives with colour, where every celebration would blossom into moments of joy, warmth, and memories cherished for a lifetime.

It carries forward a legacy the city already knows well, for our family has served Jagadhri for generations through Pawan Cutpiece Cloth House and Pawan Saree Centre, two names long trusted for beautiful fabrics and finery. Every day we watched families come to us as they prepared for weddings, ceremonies and festivals. Colour, celebration and craftsmanship have always been our world, and Rang Mahal Banquets is the natural next chapter, a place where those same celebrations can now be hosted in full grandeur.

Every execution and finishing touch was shaped by the loving hands of our father, Late Mr. Ashok Vig, and Rang Mahal stands today, built with the blessings of Late Mr. Harish Vig and Late Mr. Pawan Vig.

Built with intent, finished with care

When we set out to build Rang Mahal, we wanted more than a hall. We wanted a venue that felt like a palace the very moment you stepped inside. The classical facade, with its grand pillars and arched windows, was designed to turn heads from the street itself.

Inside, we invested in the details that turn a good event into an unforgettable one: crystal chandeliers, rich velvet drapery, ambient lighting and permanent floral decoration installed to the highest standard. Every element is fixed and ready, so hosts never have to worry about setup, quality or last minute surprises.

Grand for you, effortless for you

Since throwing open its doors in 2024, Rang Mahal has been graced by more than two hundred and fifty celebrations, from the grandest of weddings and shagun ceremonies to soulful haldi, mehndi, kirtan and kriya gatherings, joyful birthdays and heartfelt retirement parties. With room for up to five hundred guests, few halls in the district wear festivity so effortlessly.

A fully air conditioned hall, complete furniture, in house DJ and three luxury air conditioned rooms come together in one convenient package. Our promise is simple: you focus on the moments and the people, and we take care of everything that makes the day feel truly royal.
